Terms of engagement
These terms apply when you ask Workspacebeamcore (“we”, “us”) to prepare reporting work described on this website. By sending a brief or paying a deposit you accept them. They are governed by the law of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
The parties
Workspacebeamcore operates from 74 Stone Cellar Road, Kingswood, BS15 8GL, United Kingdom. You are the organisation named on the brief. We contract with that organisation, not with individual agents on the desk.
What we supply
We supply written packs, charts derived from extracts you provide, covering notes, and briefings. We do not supply software, hosting, licences, wallboards, or access to any system. Descriptions on /services/ form part of the engagement once we confirm a fee in writing.
Your extract
You warrant that you have the right to send us the extract and that you have removed ticket descriptions, attachments, and unnecessary personal data. We may refuse a file that still contains them. Delays caused by unusable files extend the timetable.
Fees and deposits
Fees are as quoted, excluding VAT where applicable. A deposit of forty percent is due when we accept the extract. The balance is due on issue of the final pack or investigation note. Weekly snapshots are billed monthly in advance after a trial week.
Intellectual property
You retain rights in your extract and in your SLA wording. We retain rights in our chart templates, colour palettes, and methods. On full payment you receive a licence to use the issued pack inside your organisation, including circulation to a board, auditor, or named client of the desk. You may not resell the pack or present it as your own design practice’s work without credit.
Confidentiality
We keep extracts and drafts confidential, including after the engagement ends, except where law requires disclosure. We may refer to a sector (for example “a university desk”) in anonymous client notes if you do not object in writing.
Liability
Charts reflect the extract. We are not liable for decisions you take on staffing, discipline, or contracts. Our liability for a given engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement, except where the law of the United Kingdom does not allow a limit (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, and fraud). We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost tenders or regulatory fines, except where such a limit is prohibited.
Briefings
On-site briefings require a safe room and a named host. We may stop a session that turns into a discussion of named individuals. Travel is charged as quoted.
Cancellation
See the refund page for deposits, no-shows, and work already started. We may cancel if we cannot obtain a usable extract after two reminders.
